Ronald Reagan

Well....
I don't know where to start!
He had such a full life.

But every life has a beginning, and Reagan's began in the house of Nelle and Jack Reagan in Illinois. He also had a brother, Niel.

When he young, Reagan worked as a lifeguard and radio sports announcer.

He also attended Eureka College in Illinois.

Reagan is best known for his acting, governorship, and presidency.

He made quite a stir in Hollywood and has been called one of the most successful actors!

~~~
His first "picture" was the 1937 Love Is On The Air.
His most famous film is probably Knute Rockne: All American in which he earned the nickname "The Gipper" by playing George Gipp.
In 1942, Reagan acted in King's Row with Anne Sheridan. His most famous line, "Where's the rest of me?" came from his film. He titled his autobiography after this line.
This is a funny scenes with Ronald Reagan, Raymond Massey, and Errol Flynn, and it comes from another 1942 movie called "Desperate Journey".
In all, 78 film titles shaped Reagan's acting career.
In 1940 Reagan married actress Jane Wyman. They had acted with each other in a number of films including "Brother Rat" and "Brother Rat and a Baby". Together they had 2 children, Maureen and Michael (who was adopted). However, they were divorced in 1949.
In 1952, he married Nancy Davis and they also had 2 children (Patti and Ron, Jr.). Ronald and Nancy acted together in a few films as well.
In 1966 he was elected as the governor or California by a margin of a million votes!
Then he took on the biggest role of his life as U.S. President in 1980.
He was very well known for his humor and quick wit.
Here's a > link < to a video that has 10 minutes of his awesome humor and stories!!!
On March 30, 1981 - just 69 days into his presidency - Reagan decided not to wear his hot, heavy bullet-proof vest to a speech he was to give at the Washington Hilton Hotel in D.C. Upon leaving the Hotel, Reagan was shot by John Hinckley, Jr.
The bullet lodged in his chest and was able to removed without killing the President who eventually made a full recovery.
He was a powerful speaker ... known as the "Great Communicator. This was one of his most well-known speeches which came to be known as the "Evil Empire Speech"
He worked some of the most powerful people to change the world such as Mikhail Gorbachev and Queen Elizabeth (with Margret Thatcher).
Reagan died of pneumonia and Alzheimer on June 5, 2004.
Duggars
Look who's expecting in April:
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are preparing to welcome their 20th "blessing" next spring : )
She says she is more "fit" than she has been in a long time and anticipating (and praying for) a healthy pregnancy.
This picture is somewhat outdated as it doesn't have either of Josh & Anna's babies in it... but it's most of the team!
Interestingly, Jessa Duggar and I were born on the exact same day: Nov. 4, 1992!
I also think that Jackson Duggar is the cutest little boy! ... and totally ornery - you can see that all over his face!
More interesting facts and recent pictures can be found  on the Duggar Family Website
Youtube also has tons of their TLC episodes : )
Ben Carson
Neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Dr. Ben S. Carson is my biggest inspiration!!
He preforms hemispherectomies and the remaining half of the patient's brain works just as well as both halves in sync.
He has separated conjoined twins who now live independently.
He constantly says how incredible the human brain is, and he credits it all to God.
Take a minute to watch this video BUT this is only one part... go ahead and look up parts 2 & 3!
Sources I recommend to learn more about Dr. Carson:
John's Hopkins website
"Gifted Hands" - his autobiography
"Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story" - the movie
These are just excerpts. Watch the whole movie for more amazing scenes and then read his books (below) to learn more about his incredible life experiences.
And Dr. Carson's 3 other books:
"Take the Risk", "Big Picture", "Think Big"
With his wife, Candy
With Cuba Gooding, Jr (who plays Dr. Carson in Gifted Hands)
Being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom
